Tulip Lamp World is one of those areas that most players don’t visit unless they’re passing through to get somewhere else. And actually… I think maybe that’s part of the point of Tulip Lamp World. There’s a little covered area with a sign reminiscent of a train stop or some sort of pick-up/drop-off point, with two faceless characters standing around like they’re waiting for something. The Japanese name for this location is Dark Road, which denotes travel.

Personally, I like Tulip Lamp World as it is. It’s mysterious and for me has a weird sense of nostalgia to it. For some reason it reminds me of my grandparents’ house at night, and their little country town in general. I’m not entirely sure why.
